Sarabhakti, a major producer of chemicals for India’s chemical industry has been awarded the Industry of 2018 by the World Economic Forum (WEF).
The Sarabhai Chemical Industry was formed in 2018.
The company has invested over $100 million in R&D and will be celebrating its 50th year in business.
“Sarabhaktis goal is to be a catalyst for India in the field of chemicals.
Its global operations and presence in several countries will help Sarabhas achieve its objectives of enhancing its position in the global chemical market,” said CEO Subhash Chandra.
Sarabhais mission is to improve the quality of life of the population through clean, reliable, affordable, and environmentally sustainable chemicals.
In addition to the industry, Sarabhanis portfolio includes healthcare, education, agri-food, chemicals, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and other related industries.
Saraba Industries, which will start manufacturing the Sarabhi Chemical Industry in 2018, has an ambitious timeline.
The new plant will have an operational capacity of 40,000 metric tons of Sarabhari chemicals.
It will have a maximum capacity of 50,000 tonne of Sarabi products in 2019, and its capacity will increase by up to 50,00 tonnes in 2020.
